Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) is an initiative to enable fast, secure, reliable cashless payments through your mobile phone. BHIM is interoperable with other Unified Payment Interface (UPI) applications, and bank accounts. BHIM is developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI).
UPI apps went live recently in August with 21 banks. Though, the payment interface was coordinated into the managing an account apps with different elements as well. On beginning the app, you will be requested that offer service to send an SMS and enroll your mobile number. BHIM App: How do I request money – Bharat Interface for Money app Funds Request
From the Bharat Interface for Money app Home screen,
1) Select Request Money
2) Enter or select the receiver’s mobile number or Payment Address (you can select from your contact list or enter it) or Adhaar number
3) Enter the amount you want to request
4) Click REQUEST
This transaction will remain pending until the payment is received. You will be notified when the money is transferred to you. You may also request money by sharing your QR code.
Goto Home Screen->Profile->Choose account to get QR code.
